According to the consultancy APK-Inform, Ukraine's grain production in 2023 may be 45.6 million tons, down 13% from 52.6 million tons in 2022.
According to APK-Inform, considering the acreage of winter crops and the prospect of spring sowing, it is estimated that the total area of grain
harvested in Ukraine in 2023 will be about 10.1 million hectares, a decrease of 12% from the previous year. Among them, the wheat area may
decrease by 16% compared with 2022, the barley area may decrease by 6%, and the corn area may decrease by 11%.
Analysts at the firm said average grain yields are not expected to change significantly given farmers' access to basic resources and climatic conditions.
